Trailer

My Review: 9/10

This was a very short and sweet drama. Because it was so short, the only plot was the love one. Though they each have their own little short stories going on regarding their careers, the plot that drives it all is the relationship between these two characters. For this short type of drama, the plot works well. I am sure the plot would be considered one that is a bit over done. The friends to lovers type of plot, but I guess that one of the reasons it is over done is because it is such a romantic idea in people's minds.

I did enjoy this one. It wasn't heavy and so it was a nice comfortable watch. And, truth be told, I don't think there is any guessing on how it will end. So, the stress level was low and I could just sit back and enjoy the warm story and the aesthetic feel of the cinematics.

Main Characters

Han Sun Woo

Park Hyung Sik played the love sick Han Sun Woo. He continues to be a favorite actor of mine for many reasons. One, because of his ability to fill many types of roles well. I have never questioned his genuineness in any of them. Two, the ability he has to send the message of his emotions through very subtle changes in his face and body. He never over exaggerates anything. He doesn't need to. He tells emotion in a natural way that speaks volumes in return. He is an incredible actor, and I hope he has a long, very prolific, career.

Han Sun Woo is a professional photographer. A well known one too. He does a lot of traveling but always returns home to where his heart is. He is a very gentle person who struggles a little with some self-confidence and finds a lot of his strength in his best friend of over twenty years. However, for eight years he has struggled with his deeper feelings for her. Feelings he knows are one-sided, so he keeps them to himself. But, when circumstances have them living together, he finds those feelings difficult to hide. He must make a decision. If he tells her, will he risk losing her altogether?

Lee Eun Soo

Han So Hee played the clueless best friend, Lee Eun Soo. She is quite the popular actress, but I have only seen her once before in the drama 100 Days My Prince. I think she is a very good actress, but I have struggled with her a bit due to the fact that she is also an actress who isn't afraid to push the boundaries' of what is appropriate for the screen (in my opinion). So, though her acting is top notch, it has made me a little untrusting of the dramas she is in.

The character of Lee Eun Soo was a song lyric writer. Maybe because she always works with words, she is much more outspoken and outgoing than her best friend. And, in a way, she has led the direction of their relationship because of it. But, she also adores her best friend, even if it is in a different way. They can fight, but they make up, and they always ended up being cute and close. Yet, for a good part of the drama she is completely clueless to Sun Woo's feelings. And, when she does learn of them, she doesn't exactly know what to do. When she seeks to discover her own heart, will she be able to find feelings that mirror his?

Han Sun Woo & Lee Eun Soo

Park Hyung Sik is so good at producing that longing/loving look that I wonder if he causes his co-stars' hearts to flutter for real. Anyway, this couple had great chemistry. The chemistry coming from Hyung Sik's side definitely seemed stronger, but I think that was because he was the one in love from the start. But, even without her reciprocation at first, the drama is still full of moments of romantic tension.

It was beautiful to watch the development of Eun Soo's own feelings as the drama progressed. The ending was very sweet and warm. I think anyone who loves romantic dramas will be satisfied by this relationship.

Conclusion

This isn't a drama that will keep you on the edge of your seat. However, if you want something to relax with and feel warm and comfortable with, I would definitely recommend this drama. It made for a great in-between drama for me. And I found it a very enjoyable to watch. Would definitely recommend!
