My Review: 9/10

I found this to be a really sweet story. A girl with health issues ends up being saved by the great John Kim. John Kim, who's real name is Kim Young Ho, struggles with his own health issues as well as pride. A pride that may end up costing him the girl he has fallen in love with. Both must overcome obstacles. Joo Eun, must regain her health and overcome her insecurities, and Young Ho must confront his family problems and his inability to allow others to see his pain. They are a great combo, with awesome chemistry. It was a beautiful drama.

I have yet to see So Ji Sub in another drama, but I thought in this one he did a fabulous job. Though mostly maintaining a calm character role, he was challenged during his moments of intense pain, which I felt he portrayed very well. His caring looks towards Min Ah seemed very genuine. I loved the chemistry between the two main characters. John Kim did also have some family struggles to overcome during this drama helping to add a little more conflict to the storyline.

Shin Min Ah was incredible in this. I have to give her props! I don't know how the makeup/or special effects crew so believably added pounds to her face, but they did a fabulous job as well. She had a very dynamic character in my opinion. She made me laugh and was so much fun to watch in this drama. She is absolutely adorable with her dimples and I love how they were used to their full advantage in this. It made for some super cute scenes between the main couple. Joo Eun also had some other backstory to deal with other than the main plot, with her secondary one revolving around her ex-long-term boyfriend and his new girl. It also added to the main storyline and was just as interesting to follow.

Overall, this is not a super heavy drama to watch. Kind of a nice light-hearted one for the most part. Obviously it has its conflicts to overcome, and some parts are going to make you sad. But, overall it is a beautiful storyline.

To avoid spoiling anything I won't go in to detail, but my only critique comes of the very end. It is a happy ending, so don't worry! But, I felt the very ending scene could have been left off and I may have liked it a little more. But, this is only a personal opinion. And, it wasn't an unhappy scene... just unnecessary to me?

Anyway! I highly recommend this drama!
