My Review: 10/10

First, I will start out with saying that this is my favorite Korean Drama. I would give it a higher rating if I could. Part of my reason for that is that it was unique to me. I am not normally a fan of science fiction, so maybe this is a concept that has been done and redone, I don't know. I initially watched this to preview it for my daughter, who does like sci-fi, and I ended up loving it. It has a great plot that develops throughout the story with plenty of conflict and issues that keep you glued to the screen. And there is Nam Shin 3... the AI robot boy sent to save his real versions place in life. It turns out his nature is very different from that of his human brother and as he fights between himself and his counterpart he begins to discover who he is. It is a beautiful story of a robot who learns about life and the world and discovers he is more human than he thought.

But, it isn't just robot Shin who grows and changes. He also has a big affect on those around him. He challenges the way people think, and often times shows that, though some concepts might be vague to him, he has a deeper understanding of people than most of those around him. It is a beautiful story and one I think everyone should see.

Seo Kang Joon's acting really shines in this drama as he switches between characters of that of the human Shin and the robot Shin. The transition is very visible to the point that you can easily recognize when he is one character verses the other even without him having to do much other than stand there. You can watch that character morph from one to the other in the way he carries himself and his facial features. It really makes them look like two different individuals. The real and then the robot copy. His acting made his characters very believable.

I felt Gong Seung Yeon was a perfect cast as Kong So Bong. I had heard that the position was originally supposed to go to someone else, but I honestly cannot imagine the role being played by anyone but her. She fills the role of the head strong So Bong and is a perfect match for Nam Shin 3. They had good chemistry and the natural transition of their relationship was very believable.

To sum up, I believe this is a must-watch drama. In addition to the riveting storyline, and great acting, the presentation of this drama is movie quality. It has easily remained at the top of my drama favorites throughout all the following dramas I have watched. I have already watched it a second time and will return to it again and again.
